East Hampton's New Affordable Housing Tax Proposal

Residents will soon be voting on a new .5% real estate transfer tax to fund workforce housing developments. The Town will develop a housing plan before bringing the fund to public vote. Already in the pipeline is a 50-unit project by Georgica Green Ventures. (Newsday)

New Riverhead Dining Options

Three fast-food restaurants and a 200-seat sit-down restaurant are being proposed for a seven-acre site on the corner of Route 58 and Mill Road.

Proposed are a 5,625sf Chick-fil-A, a 1,425sf Dunkin', an unidentified 2,600sf fast food restaurant (all three with drive-thrus) and a 6,400sf sit down restaurant. (RiverheadLocal)

RXR's Golf Course Condos

The Engineers Country Club in Roslyn, originally designed in 1917, will be getting 92 condos developed by RXR and a new course operator - ClubCorp.

18 acres of the 140-acre property will be developed for the homes and ClubCorp will improve overall operations and lifestyle of the country club. (LIBN)

Grant monies will be used for runway improvements, sustainability projects, and terminal improvements.
