LONG ISLAND LIVING: OCTOBER 2019

MARKET REPORT

The current real estate market is definitely quite different from the market we experienced last September. Buyers appear to be taking their time reacting to properties, even with homes they appear to want to purchase. There seems to be a lack of motivation on the buyers side unless there is a perceived value or fear of losing out.

Now more than ever pricing is key.
With that said, homes are still going into contract.
Check out my most recent sales below.

Looking forward to a more active October!

NEIGHBORHOOD GUIDE

CENTERPORT

If you’re looking for a waterfront community with relaxed vibes, arts & culture, and close to nightlife and entertainment - Centerport should be on your list!

Nestled between thriving Huntington and quaint Northport Village, Centerport welcomes you. Beach and boating life shines within the community, and members of Centerport Yacht Club have access to a full waterfront facility overlooking Northport Harbor. This hamlet offers both private and public beaches as well.

Cultural focal point, the Vanderbuilt Museum and Planetarium, is a true Gold Coast Mansion. This 43 acre estate is on the National Register of Historic Places and open year round. From mansion tours, museum exhibits, planetarium shows or special events, you will find yourself getting lost in its rich history and jaw dropping views.

While Centerport is only a few minutes drive from Huntington Village, you can dine in or eat out with some of the local hot spots.

Callie’s Beach Cafe is a nautically themed casual cafe and bar that also has a small market that sells basic provisions. Callie’s unique space holds couches, a communal table and a long wooden bar. The space is large enough to accommodate special events like Oktoberfet, Open Mic Night, Live Music, Trivia Night & Movie Night. The Mill Pond House, situated on the Mill Pond of Centerport, boasts spectacular water views with a year round patio.
